Health Care Reform (Not Health Insurance Reform)

As your Congressman, I will sponsor or co-sponsor legislation that…

• Prevents funding of submitted HHS/IRS budgets directly attributable to implementation/enforcement of ObamaCare in the U.S House of Representatives (defunding)  
• Immediately repeals ObamaCare as enacted (introduce in 2011)
• Allows insurance carriers to compete across state lines to ensure free market competition amongst carriers
• Detects, Prevents and Punishes Medicare/Medicaid waste, fraud and abuse at the Provider level
• Encourages private sector innovation in technologically advanced equipment to reduce the cost of medical care at the Provider level through expanded non-refundable tax credits.
• Requires “Trust Fund” status of all Medicare/Medicaid tax withholdings from employee wages, pension benefits and self-employment tax payments
• Establishes Health Care Provider limited liability statutes (Tort Reform)
• Repeals the Medicare or nothing statutes for health care Providers
• Shortens the patent period (exclusivity) on 1st generation pharmaceuticals, generics and medical devices from 17 years to 10 years
