Throughout my adult life, I have been guided by the principles of Conservatism. I was a student of both William F. Buckley, Jr. and Milton Friedman. From these great Americans and scholars in conservative thought and economics, respectively, I have developed a set of values, beliefs and principles that I believe should be the cornerstone of OUR Federal, State and Local governments.

I have never, nor will I never, waiver from these principles and beliefs:

The Individual rights of U.S. Citizens are paramount to any other right

The Federal government should be limited to the powers enumerated in the Constitution,

The Bill of Rights, enumerated in Articles 1 - 10 of the Constitution, are guaranteed liberties of all U.S. citizens

I believe that the U.S. Constitution is NOT a “living and breathing” document; it has established the rights and liberties accruing to U.S.citizens, as well as provided for the limits of power the federal government has over the individual states and its' citizens

I am a passionate believer in our free market economy, which allows private enterprise to be the strength of our economy, not the federal government

I believe in the principles of human self-determination; the right of a person to freely choose and act without external interference (government)

I believe that compassion and charity for others is personal and should not be made compulsory through government intervention or coercion

I am an ardent believer in a strong national defense and that the men and women who have fought, and continue to fight, for our freedom deserve our utmost respect and gratitude

I am Pro-life without reservations

I believe in the ingenuity and enterprise of the American citizen; and their ability to solve problems in the most efficient and effective manner, not the federal government

I do not believe, nor will I ever believe, in the redistribution of wealth (Socialism) to achieve “Social Justice”

I believe that dependency on government by its’ citizens leads to tyranny

I believe that the freedom of conscience is the cornerstone of Liberty
